The publishers of Environment Journal and Air Quality News are proud to announce the launch of the new podcast series.
The Environment Journal (EJ) Podcast, in association with Vortex IoT, a market leader in hyperlocal air quality monitoring and innovative cleantech solutions for smart cities will feature leading figures from the worlds of sustainability, the environment and air quality management.
The podcasts will be hosted by renowned author, commentator and adviser on climate change, low carbon and renewable energy, Stephen Cirell.
‘Every month I will be speaking to some of the key figures in sustainability, the environment and air quality management and asking them about the work they are doing, the beliefs they have on climate change and global warming and their visions for the future,’ said Mr Cirell.
The first episode – launching on 11 March – will feature an interview with Rebecca Willis, a Professor from Lancaster University and the author of new book entitled ‘Too Hot to Handle: the Democratic Challenge of Climate Change’.
It will examine the occasionally troubled relationship between politicians and climate change, what they really believe and whether change is possible.
‘Since it was launched in 2016, Environment Journal has established itself as one of the market leaders in its field, with features, opinion pieces and breaking news across many sectors, including – sustainability, net zero, climate change, air quality, housing and transport,’ said publisher David Harrison.
‘Last month, more than 170,000 people accessed our online content, viewing over 210,000 pages on the websites. The new podcast will help enhance our coverage and offer regular visitors to our websites fresh and dynamic content.’
