The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has released a new report, Clean Air, Healthy Childhoods: Innovative Clinical Responses to Environmental Health Inequalities, highlighting the serious health impacts of poor air quality and substandard housing on children across the UK.
A new book maps the lives of Ted Bundy, the Green River Killer and others who terrorised the Pacific Northwest in the 70s and 80s. It uncovers an overlapping pattern of environmental destruction. At ground zero in Ted Bundy’s Tacoma, stood one of the most poisonous lead, copper and arsenic smelters in the world, one of many that dotted the area.
