Europe’s first small modular reactors planned for Teeside
Cumbria-based Community Nuclear Power (CNP) have announced they have signed an agreement with American energy giants Westinghouse, that could lead to the first privately funded deployment of small modular reactors (SMR) anywhere in Europe.
Gatwick slashes its vehicle emissions after switching to HVO
London Gatwick has revealed that by using Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) in their diesel vehicles they have reduced their carbon emissions by 90%, a saving of more than 950 tonnes annually.
