EarthSense has appointed Henry Brocklehurst as its new Business Development Manager, focusing on the public sector market in the UK and Ireland.
In his new role, Henry will help EarthSense to grow its share of the public sector market in the UK and Ireland by working with existing clients to develop their long-term air quality projects, and by targeting new business with local authorities and the NHS. Henry will particularly look to grow the company’s business in the north of England, in Wales and in Scotland.
Prior to joining EarthSense, Henry worked for Vaisala, a global leader in measurement instruments and intelligence for climate action, for 12 years. At Vaisala, he was employed in a range of roles including sales manager, service manager, operations analyst and consulting specialist.
During this time, he gained significant experience in introducing new technology to local authority customers.
Commenting on his new appointment, Henry said: ‘I’m excited to be joining EarthSense to build on the company’s growing success in the public sector market. Local authorities and the NHS are increasingly looking at the cost savings and longer-term health benefits of improving air quality in their communities. EarthSense is at the forefront of creating new ways to tackle the challenges of improving air quality and I’m committed to helping the company become the supplier of choice to help public sector organisations drive these changes.’
