Associated British Ports (ABP) has submitted a planning application for what would be the UK’s largest floating solar project — Barrow EnergyDock — at the Port of Barrow.
Work has begun on a project which will provide low-carbon heating to homes through an existing mine water treatment scheme in Seaham, County Durham.
