Benefits of Birmingham’s CAZ shown in new Mums For Lungs figures
Research by Mums For Lung has found that the number of children visiting hospitals with breathing difficulties has fallen by 22% within Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone. Hospitals outside the CAZ however, have seen that figure rise by 16%.

Abdullah Fadil, the UNICEF Representative in Pakistan has expressed alarm at the plight of more than 11 million children under the age of five who are being subjected to polluted, toxic air in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
