Government faces questions over air quality funding
Government could face questions over the allocation of funding to local authorities for measures to tackle air pollution as part of a Parliamentary Committee inquiry commencing next week.
Defra defended the latest version of its air quality plan in the High Court yesterday (25 January), after the environmental law charity ClientEarth argued that the proposals put forward by government are ‘unlawful’.
