City councils call for greater funding to clean up air
City council authorities have called for greater funding support from government, following the publication of the national plan for tackling roadside NO2 concentrations yesterday (26 July).
Further details of the government’s proposals to address air pollution have emerged following today’s Budget statement, through a consultation on support for individuals and businesses affected by air quality plans.
