EU Commission pauses air quality infringement action
Potential legal action against EU Member States over failure to meet air quality limits for nitrogen dioxide will not happen before May, the European Commission has confirmed.
The House of Lords’ EU Energy and Environment Sub-Committee has written to the Environment Secretary, Michael Gove, seeking an update on progress being made towards meeting air quality targets.
