We are delighted to announce that this year’s National Air Quality Conference will be again be held at Prospero House in London, on 4th November. Prospero House is located near London Bridge, directly opposite Borough Station.
This year’s event will be the sixth National Conference and, as ever, we will be bringing together some of the most important policymakers and academics currently working on solutions to the challenges created by air pollution and clean air provision.
Our exhibition will also profile those companies who are offering solutions to the challenges we face in delivering improved air quality.

Rezina Chowdhury, Deputy Leader of Lambeth Council
Rezina is Deputy Leader of Lambeth Council, the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Lambeth and Clean Air, a member of Labour’s National Policy Forum and Vice Chair of London Councils’ Transport & Environment Committee
Rezina is responsible for action on the climate and ecological emergency and in advancing sustainable mobilities in Lambeth. She oversees the delivery of the borough’s climate action plan and Corporate Carbon Reduction Plan along with the delivery of Lambeth’s ambitious transport strategy. This involves advancing active and sustainable mobilities in the borough by reshaping the streets and neighbourhoods in the favour of sustainable modes of travel.
Nick Smith, Head of the UK portfolio at the Clean Air Fund
Nick is Head of the UK portfolio at the Clean Air Fund. In this role Nick is responsible for developing strategies and projects that will encourage stronger action to address air pollution in the UK. Before leading Clean Air Fund’s UK portfolio, Nick was Head of the CEO’s Office, where he worked as Chief of Staff to the CEO, Jane Burston.
Prior to joining the Clean Air Fund Nick worked at the National Citizen Service, one of the UK’s largest development programmes for young people, where he held several roles, including Head of Strategy. Nick started his career in the private sector, working in strategy consultancy. Nick is a trustee at Citizens Advice East End, a local charity providing information and advice services in East London.
Nicola Pastore, Solve the School Run
Nicola has 3 young children and co-founded Solve the School Run as a direct response to the road danger and air pollution her family faces on their short walk to school each day. She has a background in data analytics, having spent 15 years in finance and analysis roles in industry and consulting.
Solve the School Run is a parent led charity that combines unique data insights with experience of real-world parent powered solutions to help families, local authorities and communities cut congestion and reduce road danger on the streets around our schools.
