A number of speakers have been added to the programme for the fifth National Air Quality Conference taking place in London on 4 October.
The one-day conference, taking place at Lords Cricket Ground, St John’s Wood, will look in depth at the government’s Clean Air Strategy, development of Clean Air Zones in cities, advances in air quality monitoring and indoor air quality.
Delegates will hear presentations from Defra, Public Health England, Earthsense, Ricardo, Air Monitors and others.
Visitors will also be able to preview some of the latest low emission vehicles which will be on display at the event.

Support for the conference is coming from Mercedes-Benz and FUSO, Calor, Urban Transport Group, Imperial, Videalert and Gramm Barriers & SmogStop.
Delegates can also book a specially-priced joint ticket to attend the National Air Quality Awards, which is taking place shortly after the conference and will recognise achievement in helping to improve the UK’s air quality and reduce emissions at all levels across local authorities, the private and third sectors.
Entries are still open for the Awards, with submissions accepted until 31 July.
