The two-day Air Quality and Emissions (AQE) Show 2013 will include a conference, workshop and an exhibition of the latest technologies in air quality and emissions
An expanded Air Quality and Emissions (AQE) Show 2013, focusing on environmental air monitoring, is set to take place over two days in Telford in March.
Formerly known as The Mcerts (Environment Agency’s Monitoring Certification Scheme) Air Show, which has been running since 2002, the expanded AQE 2013 show will take place on March 13 and 14 at Telford International Centre in Shropshire.
The 2013 show will encompass topics from the previous MCERT events, such as industrial emissions and stack monitoring of Part A processes regulated by the Environment Agency, but it will also look at ambient air quality monitoring and Part B processes regarding air emissions regulated by local authorities.
As well as a conference and workshop, there will be an international exhibition of the latest technologies in air quality and emissions. The event is being organised by science news publication International Labmate and the Source Testing Association (STA).
STA director Dave Curtis said: “The MCERTS events were ultimately about the protection of air quality, so it makes sense for AQE 2013 to have an expanded remit to include everybody with a professional interest in air quality and emissions monitoring. For example, I am pleased to announce that the event will also include air treatment and abatement technologies, because anyone with an interest in monitoring is also likely to have an interest in emissions reduction and control.”
Topics covered in the event will include: Ambient Monitoring; CEMS; Dioxin Monitoring; Mcerts; Regulation; Calibration; Air Treatment; Discontinuous Monitoring; Gas Analysis; Data Acquisition; Workplace Monitoring; Fence Line Monitoring; Manual Stack Monitoring; Abatement Technologies; Fugitive Emissions; and Operator Monitoring Assessment.
We may wish to attend the March conference. Please keep us updated.
