It’s great to see initiatives like that! When considering indoor air quality, particularly in the context of home cooling, it’s crucial to remember the impact of indoor humidity levels. High humidity can exacerbate indoor air pollution by promoting mold growth and increasing the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Using a dehumidifier in conjunction with your air conditioning system can significantly improve air quality by maintaining optimal humidity levels, thus complementing the broader efforts to reduce outdoor air pollution. This approach not only makes your home more comfortable but also healthier.
