Air quality business named among UK’s top inspiring firms

A sign the significance of air pollution is becoming more widely recognised, one British specialist has ranked as one of the country’s most influential companies. 

A Wales-based air quality business has been name among the UK’s most inspiring firms by the ten-year-old Small Business Saturday UK campaign.

Think Air was founded early 2021, and is already regarded as one of the sector’s fastest growing names. Differentiating itself from many others in the field by tackling both indoor and outdoor air pollution, this is one of key reasons it has received the SmallBiz100 accolade. 

‘It’s been a whirlwind of a year for Think Air. Since launching, we’ve been dedicated to building relationships, providing actionable insights, and educating the next generation about the importance of clean air,’ said Think Air’s Professor Paul Lewis. ‘COP26 really brought home the importance of air quality. It impacts us all, but we don’t talk about it enough. So, to be recognised for our efforts on a national scale as part of the SmallBiz100 is huge for us.’

Other environmentally-minded firms gaining recognition from SmallBiz100 include The Pure Option, a specialist in compostable packaging products, Social Socks, a clothing company heavily engaged with tree planting and social value, Weigh of the World, a sustainable living shop focussing on food and liquid refills, and Eco Foundry Ltd, a firm that builds and installs freestanding living walls in various settings.

Focused on the UK, it’s an essential tool for decision makers working within organisations from local authorities to private firms.
