Shared Transport Conference opens for registration

The Collaborative Mobility UK (CoMoUK) run event returns to argue the case for collective travel modes over private vehicle ownership.

Shared transport is widely seen as a key solution to the UK’s congestion woes, in turn helping to substantially reduce emissions and therefore air pollution by taking more combustion-powered vehicles off the road. 

With this in mind, CoMoUK’s Shared Transport Conference is an increasingly important date in the diary of any urban planner, travel executive or air quality specialist, and this year’s instalment is now open for registration. The two-day offering is free to attend, and will run online on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th December. 

Opening 2022’s edition will be Danny Williams, Active Travel England’s chief executive, with representatives from a range of shared transport scheme operators also set to deliver presentations, including bike hire and car share clubs. Politicians, local authority officials, and academics will also be involved.
