Bank Holiday heatwave prompts air pollution warnings
Record-breaking May Bank Holiday temperatures have led to warnings high and moderate levels of ozone air pollution in London and parts of the south east of England.
Children ‘concerned’ over air pollution near schools
A survey of schoolchildren aged six to 15 suggests that over two fifths (43%) of those living in urban areas are concerned about the levels of air pollution near their school, sustainable travel charity Sustrans has claimed.
