The latest company to announce they will be exhibiting at the Northern Air Quality Conference are Living Walls UK, suppliers of eco-friendly living walls, green roofs and green screens.
Based in Yorkshire, they install and maintain projects across the UK and overseas, creating spaces that coexist with nature and thrive because of it.
Living Walls UK was founded by Ricky Talbot, five years ago, after he came across such an installation overseas and decided to bring the concept to the UK. Since then, the company has grown into a thriving business, working with such names as DPD, McDonald’s, Schneider Electric, and Wimbledon. One of their living walls was also showcased at the 2024 RHS Flower Show.
The living wall systems are fully sustainable, crafted from recycled and biodegradable materials and designed to last.
They say: ‘We’ve proven that living walls, green screens and green roofs can work anywhere – from offices and homes to restaurants, bars, retail stores, schools, universities, showrooms, and hotels. Helping people and businesses understand the true value of these solutions has been key.
‘Educating communities and businesses about the many benefits – improved air quality, increased energy efficiency, enhanced well-being, and promoting biodiversity – has been essential to changing perceptions and showing how these solutions can make a lasting impact.
‘We also know that living walls and green roofs need care to stay at their best, which is why we offer dedicated maintenance services. From regular check-ups to tailored upkeep, our support ensures that every installation continues to thrive and deliver its benefits for years to come. This not only gives our clients peace of mind but also helps them maximise the long-term value of their investment.’
