MiniPID 2 – The Proven Standard in VOC Detection
Our MiniPID 2 range represents the industry benchmark in volatile organic compound (VOC) detection. Trusted globally, it combines humidity resistance, reliability, high sensitivity, and rapid response times to deliver precise real-time data in even the most challenging environments.
Available in multiple configurations, including (high sensitivity), (parts per billion detection), and (wide range), the sensors are tailored to specific application needs. Each variant features a robust UV lamp for long operational life and consistent sensitivity, even to less volatile compounds.
Compact, low-power, and low-maintenance, MiniPID 2 is widely deployed in indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring, environmental studies, industrial safety, and personal exposure assessment. Its proven stability makes it the go-to solution for OEMs, researchers, and system integrators who need trusted performance.
Advanced Particulate Matter Sensors
The NextPM sensor delivers real-time, direct measurements of , , and ( and particles/L). Featuring patented airflow, humidity control, and anti-contamination designs, it ensures stable accuracy in harsh conditions. NextPM provides reliable data for smart cities, environmental monitoring, and research to support cleaner air.
Engineered for ventilation ducts and HVAC systems, the NextPM Advanced replaces the internal fan with an external pump connection to ensure stable operation under high pressure differences. It tracks concentrations up to 10,000 across 0.3–10 particle sizes. With low power consumption (<50mA), it offers up to 10,000 hours of maintenance-free operation for a highly competitive cost of ownership.
The PMSCAN is a compact, portable solution for tracking personal exposure to fine particulate matter. Powered by the embedded NextPM sensor, it delivers accurate, real-time air quality data for worker safety, citizen science, and public health tracking. It features Bluetooth, internal memory, multi-platform apps, and a 15-hour battery life for reliable mobile monitoring.
PID Integration Boards – Simplifying Sensor Deployment
Our ION CONNECT and ION TRANSMIT boards are designed to make VOC monitoring more accessible for both OEMs and researchers.
- For OEMs and integrators: the boards reduce development costs, speed up time to market, and provide industrial-grade reliability.
- For researchers and developers: they serve as rapid evaluation tools, offering live PID data “straight out of the box.”
Supporting standard protocols such as UART, MODBUS RTU, and 4–20 mA, along with user-configurable settings, these boards ensure seamless integration into a wide variety of monitoring systems. Applications span indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring, HVAC systems, Li-ion battery safety, semiconductor manufacturing and laboratory testing.
Our Commitment
At ION SENSE®, we believe better sensing means better decisions. Through our portfolio of proven, next-generation, and enabling technologies, we empower industries, researchers, and communities to monitor air quality with confidence.
