‘Pay as you go’ car use could save thousands of tonnes of CO2
Increasing the number of people who use car clubs could reduce carbon emissions by 87,000 tonnes per year, according to shared transport organisation Collaborative Mobility UK (CoMoUK).
Build Solar, a start-up founded by researchers at the University of Exeter has won funding from the Sustainable Innovation Fund to explore whether their solar walls technology could be used across rail networks to harvest solar energy at scale.
