SENSOR+TEST Measurement Fair confirms 2023 details

The world’s leading trade fair dedicated to measurement software, devices, and instruments will welcome thousands of visitors and 350 exhibitors to Nuremberg, Germany, from 9th – 11th May.

Taking place at the city’s NürnbergMesse, one of the 15 largest exhibition centres on the planet, 2023’s edition will mark the another step in the road to recovery for the event following the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns and travel restrictions.

‘We will welcome our exhibitors and visitors again in the exhibition halls of NürnbergMesse in May,’ said Holger Bödeker, Managing Director of AMA Service GmbH, which runs SENSOR+TEST.

While the programme caters for more than those with an interest in air quality measurement, the industry is well represented at the expo. In addition to offering people an opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest technologies, a Jos Fair will also form part of the overall offering. Previously digital-only, SMSI 2023 (Sensor & Measurement Science International Conference) will debut as an in-person event running alongside SENSOR+TEST.

‘This year, the participants will particularly appreciate the symbiosis with the parallel trade fair, where they can ideally continue their innovation dialog,’ Bödeker continued, clarifying that SMSI 2023 comprises the three thematic blocks: Sensors and Instrumentation, Measurement Science and System of Units and Metrological Infrastructure.

‘The Next-PM high-performance Particulate Matter sensor, is now also available, and will feature prominently on our stand,’ added Peter Morris, Head of Sensors at ION Science Ltd, which will be exhibiting in Nuremberg. ‘When customers integrate our sensors into their equipment, they know that having ‘ION inside’ enhances both their performance capability and reliability, which builds trust in their brands. We therefore look forward to welcoming all visitors, including developers, designers, engineers, technicians and product managers to speak with us at the show.’

This month, Air Quality News hosts The Northern Air Quality Conference 2023 at The Midland Hotel, Manchester, UK.
