1930s home retrofitted into a carbon-positive showcase
A 1930s semi in Cambridge has been transformed into a carbon-positive showcase, to demonstrate how older homes can be modernised to cut emissions, improve air quality and inspire greener living across the UK.
Jaguar Land Rover has opened a 26-hectare (aka: 36 football pitches) solar farm at its Gaydon headquarters, which will be capable of meeting up to 31% of the site’s energy needs.
