Final speaker confirmed for National Air Quality Conference

We’re delighted to be able to announce that air pollution specialist Sarah Legge is the last speaker to be confirmed for our National Air Quality Conference in London on 6th November

Sarah is the Chair of the Task Group on Air Quality and Climate Change Guidance for EPIC, the Environmental Policy Implementation Community at the Institution of Environmental Sciences.

She has over 28 years’ experience in the air quality field, from policy development, evaluation, and implementation to technical air quality work, and linking with sustainable transport, the built environment and climate change work.

Sarah is an Associate Director at ARUP, has run her own consultancy working with public and private sectors, and was previously Head of Air Quality at the Greater London Authority. She has a particular interest in the intersection of air quality and other issues, particularly climate change and health.

Sarah is the sixth and final speaker we have confirmed for the conference, joining:

  • Christopher Hammond, Chief Executive for UK100
  • Simon Birkett, Clean Air in London
  • Fiona Coull, Cross River Partnership
  • Diana Varaden, Imperial College London
  • John Galsworthy, Director for Climate and Transport, Hammersmith & Fulham Council

This year the Conference will be heading to a new venue, Prospero House, which is located near London Bridge, Borough Market, and directly opposite Borough Station.

This will be our 5th edition of the event and, as ever, will feature an exhibition running alongside which will profile organisations offering solutions to the challenges we face in delivering improved air quality.

We will also be hosting a panel discussion from the leading experts in the field, where they will be taking questions on pressing matters from the audience.

Some tickets are still available and are available to buy here.

You can read reports from all our previous conferences here.
